    From there, a recommendation of the most suitable platform and approach based on your needs, the features you’re looking for, and where you’re currently at in your business is provided.

    You’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining the recommended scope, pricing and next steps. This allows space to ask questions, make adjustments if needed, and move forward in a way that feels right.

    Once your site is ready, you’ll be guided through the launching stage and ensuring you feel confident managing it moving forward.

    Ongoing support is available if needed, but not required.

Common Questions

  • Most website projects are completed within up to 35 days from the project commencement date. This timeframe refers to the design and build phase of the website. After the first look preview is delivered, the project moves into the review and finalisation stage.

    Need it quicker? A fast-tracking option may be available (fees apply).

  • Once the first look preview is delivered, you will have time to review the website and submit any requested changes or edits. After edits are received, ONYX Business Support will confirm a timeframe for implementing those updates before moving to the final setup stages.

  • Yes. Clients are responsible for providing website content such as text, images, and branding assets. Light copy polishing can be provided where needed, however the core content should be supplied before the project begins.

    Stock images are able to be used as space holders or as part of the design. Please reach out to us and we can have a chat about content and requirements.

  • Yes. If you have a specific launch date in mind, the website can remain password protected until that date and then simply be made live to the public once agreed.

    Please note for website launch dates it is best to allow 6-8 weeks for the build and final steps of your site.

  • ONYX Business Support does not provide SEO services as part of website design projects. Basic SEO settings available within website platforms may be configured during the build, however ongoing SEO strategy and website marketing remain the responsibility of the client.

  • Websites are built on user friendly platforms such as Squarespace or Shopify, which means you will have access to manage and update your website if you choose to.

    However, if you’re not confident working within the platform it’s usually best not to make changes without guidance, as small adjustments can sometimes affect the layout or functionality of the site.

    If you would like to learn how to manage certain areas of your website, a tutorial session can be arranged (small fees may apply), and ongoing support is always available if you would prefer updates to be handled for you.

  • Website projects are scheduled well in advance. The deposit secures your place in the schedule and ensures time is reserved specifically for your project.

  • Yes. Website platforms such as Squarespace and Shopify have their own subscription fees which are paid directly to the platform, not to ONYX Business Support. Monthly and annual plans are available and we will always discuss these options and pricing with you.
